The space age-looking Shimano Casitas 150 Low Profile
Baitcaster Reel is all about gear ratio. It has a 6.3:1
gear and recovers 67 centimetres of line with each turn of the
handle. The Cross Carbon Drag provides a wider range of settings
from light to full stop, while remaining super smooth throughout.
You’ll also get 6kg of max drag which is heaps for what this reel
was designed to do. 150 metres of 15 kilo Power Pro should be more
than enough capacity to deal with them. If not, you’ve got a nice
fish on there! This reel is also ideal for soft baiting and slow
jigging for Snapper and other saltwater table fish.

There are four SA-RB bearings and one roller bearing, the Lo Mass
Spool keeps weight down and the spool turning smoothly, and a Click
Centrifugal Cast Control means the Casitas remain sure-footed and
dependable when throwing lures of different weights and varying
degrees of aerodynamics.
